Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo has recalled on his first ever Formula 1 win back at the Canadian Grand Prix in 2014, and gives a special mention to the celebrations after the race.

In Renault's official preview of the weekend's Canada Grand Prix, Ricciardo and his team-mate Nico Hulkenberg sat down and asked each other some questions ahead of the seventh round of the F1 season.

Ricciardo picked up his first ever win back in 2014 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for Red Bull Racing, and the Aussie has described what he can remember about a day he will surely never forget.

"I remember the afterparty, for sure," Ricciardo said on his win in Canada. "I remember hitting the lead. I pretty much prayed that my fingers still worked. Then, the afterparty... I was pretty tame.

"I was exhausted, but the mechanics. Well, one still has a scar - let's put it that way!"

It was then role reversal and it was Hulkenberg's turn to answer a question, and when Ricciardo asked him what his thoughts were ahead of the weekend - the German replied: "It's a real cool track. It's got a real good rhythm. Those two kerbs, the two chicanes, it's a good place. A real cool city, with a real good vibe around the place."
