Good marks for Merc

Yet again, we've fallen for it. Ferrari receive all of the hype and praise in the build-up to a Grand Prix weekend, but when it matters most, when it's crunch time in Q3 on Saturday, Mercedes are quickest. The Silver Arrows have once again locked out the front row - three times now in the four race weekends this season. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel simply didn't bring it in Q3, and Charles Leclerc had smashed his SF90 to pieces in Q2 already at turn 8.

In previous years we've learned that starting at the front doesn't mean you'll finish there, but it's hard to look past Mercedes at this point. Leclerc starts from P9, Vettel from P3, Max Verstappen P4... can any of them pip the German team?

Pérez loves a bit of Baku

You might not know this, but Sergio Pérez is actually the only driver to have stood on the podium in Baku multiple times - incredible! The Mexican loves Baku, and he proved that once again as he put his Racing Point in P5 in qualifying, leading the midfield. He also qualified 11 places (!) higher than teammate Lance Stroll.

Surely not another podium for Pérez? He's scrapped for eight podiums already in his career, can you put it past him to get another today?
