Williams driver Robert Kubica believes the Shanghai International Circuit in China can be a "challenge" to set-up the car, as the Pole prepares for his third race since his long-awaited comeback.

The weather, as well as the complex nature of the track, can prove difficult for teams to set-up its cars in the correct way, and after a torrid start to life at Williams - things don't appear to be getting any easier for Kubica and co.

"We have a number of very different circuits at the beginning of the year with varying characteristics, which allows the teams to discover a great deal about their car," Kubica said in Williams' preview of the China Grand Prix.

"China can be very changeable and challenging. It has a lot of long, tight corners, such as the first three turns, combined with low-speed hairpins, high-speed corners, and very long straights ending with heavy braking.

"These conditions along with the changeable weather means it can be a challenge to set-up the car."

The weather usually causes some tricky conditions for the drivers on the grid, but Kubica is more looking forward to getting back out on the Shanghai circuit for the first time since 2010.

"We will have to wait and see what the weather does, but I am looking forward to driving in China once again."
