Max Verstappen is confident in his car for next season.
Max Verstappen had a strong end to last season and he must be feeling confident going into 2019.
When speaking to formula1.com about his car for next season, Verstappen was very positive:
"It looks all very promising but I always try to be realistic and just wait and see,” said the Dutchman.
“First we still need to build a great car, and then the engine should be reliable as well, and be powerful, which I think it will be there but first we do winter testing and then we’ll see."
Red Bull have switched from Renault power to Honda which they will hope gives them a chance at winning races.
“We want to push our development, but we have a good car back in the factory and they’ve been working already very hard on it - but I’m pretty sure that Mercedes and Ferrari have been doing the same.”
Max Verstappen teams up with Pierre Gasly and will be looking to push on from 4th in the driver's championship next season.
