Drivers will have these tyres for the Miami Grand Prix

5 May - 17:00

Just a few more hours and the Miami Grand Prix will begin at the Miami International Autodrome. As always, Pirelli released their predicted strategies for the race, as well as the number of tyres each driver has left. You can see the overview below.

Possible strategies for the Miami Grand Prix

What can we expect? Pirelli are very clear about that: a one-stopper. For the drivers starting on the hard, a prosperous race is envisaged where pitting is only required after about 35 laps. For those starting on medium or soft tyres, a pit win is expected around Lap 20.

Remaining tyres per drivers

From here, you can often get a bit of an idea of what the drivers will do. Both Stroll and Alonso are out of new hard tyres, and are the only ones to do so. Russell and Hamilton are unlikely to be seen on medium tyres any time soon. Below is the full rundown for Sunday night's race.
