FIA president Jean Todt has shed light on what Max Verstappen might be made do to for his Formula 1 community service punishment. Verstappen picked up the penalty following his physical actions with Esteban Ocon after their collision in Brazil.

Todt suggested Verstappen will work closely with marshalls in a different motorsport category as part of the punishment. In his interview with Sky Sports, he confirmed his team are yet to work out what the Dutchman will do, but suggested some ideas.

"What will it be? Honestly, nothing has been decided," Todt said.

"But clearly it has to be something that will be supportive to the Formula 1 world, supportive to the racing world. Maybe a contribution to work closer with some stewards or some officials during some training, during some education groups. We have different things which are going to happen next year.

"Maybe participate in a group panel of stewards in another category of motorsport to put yourself in the other side and understand that it's not always easy."

Whatever happens, we're sure Verstappen will tackle it with a smile on his face!
