Lance Stroll has felt that he has not enjoyed his year with Williams during the 2018 F1 Championship season.

Stroll raced his last race for the team in Abu Dhabi, finished thirteenth, ahead of a proposed move to Force India for next year. He has been testing around the Yas Marina Circuit for the team today.

The twenty-year-old made only two points finishes this season in Azerbaijan, finished eight, and in Italy where he finished ninth.

“We had by far the worst car this year, so I think it can only go up from where Williams were this year.” (crash.net)

“I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed my time with the team this year, but I did last year,” Stroll said after having finished 2017 being on the podium in third in Azerbaijan, qualifying fourth fastest, starting second and finishing seventh in Monza and working his way up from eleventh in Mexico to finish sixth.

“I’m just going to enjoy the off-season a bit now, and get back to work and start chipping away at it."

“I’ve definitely grown and matured as a driver, but it’s been a challenging year,”

Williams have changed their driver line-up completely for next year, promoting Robert Kubica from reserve driver and signing on George Russell.
