Red Bull Racing became the Formula 1 constructors' champion last season with a record number of wins. In the first race of the brand-new Formula 1 season, Max Verstappen also finished first in his RB20. However, team boss Christian Horner does not want to prejudge things just yet.

"I think that there's some great ingenuity on the car, but it's only one sample of 24 races at a specific track. All the tracks vary quite a lot that are in the championship. Let's see how the car performs at a completely different venue at a street circuit like this," says the Brit.

Why Horner has confidence in Perez

Recently, it became clear that Red Bull driver Sergio Perez did not find the RB20 very comfortable. The Mexican already said that he hopes to be much closer to Verstappen in Jeddah, where the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix will be held on Saturday. Horner expressed his confidence about him in Jeddah.

"Well, he's always run very well at street circuits, and he's always revelled at this kind of circuits with, you know, barriers and and and, you know, concrete in close proximity. He had his first-ever pole position here, and he won the race. The Grand Prix here last year. His confidence is high at this type of venue. As we all know, confidence is something crucial with drivers," concluded the Red Bull team boss.
