Williams have already secured their first award of the season! The Gulf-Williams partnership has won the 'Brand of the Year' award at the Race Media Awards. It is the second award the partnership received after they have already won 'Collaboration of the Year' at the Autosport Awards in December.

The Race Media Awards is an award ceremony that celebrates the successes of media and marketing in all categories of motorsport. The 'Brand of the Year' award recognises campaigns that have had maximum impact and influence, moving the brand forward. And so did this collaboration where fans got to choose which livery the team would wear at a number of Grand Prix in 2023, including Japan and Singapore. The fact that fans were allowed to compete in the final decision was the deciding factor for the judges.

Williams are proud

James Bower, commercial director of the team, is proud that the team can walk away with an award: "We’re proud to see the partnership between Gulf and Williams Racing recognised for Brand of the Year at The Race Media Awards. Not only did the project showcase these two iconic brands across three key markets, but it also engaged a global audience through digital and social activations."
