Carlos Sainz was the single Ferrari driver to fall in the points at the Dutch Grand Prix. His teammate, Charles Leclerc, skidded off the track in his car during the race, resulting in only 10 points for the Italian Scuderia on the Dutch coast. What is the mood within the team? Sainz explains.

Ferrari's mood hinges on the success of the SF-23, Sainz implies: "I think the mood is basically trying to understand as much as possible about this year's car. We are using FP1, FP2s every weekend to try something different, to try and understand these regulations and try to see where we may be lacking compared to obviously the reference Red Bull and how we can make the 2024 car quicker."

What is Ferrari working on?

"We're also spending a lot of time in the simulator, trying different things. Spending more time than ever really on getting the season turned around and putting everything that we can into place to get ourselves in a better place for next year," the Spaniard concludes.

Despite the fact that Ferrari seems to be suffering from a little to not hugely performing car every weekend, the team is still fourth in the constructors' championship. Leclerc and Sainz are approaching the formation of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll in the standings. The difference is just 14 points.
