He might not like the 'now or never' approach, but it is exactly that this weekend for Sebastian Vettel. The Ferrari driver will have to start making inroads to the 50-point deficit he faces against. His rival, Lewis Hamilton, virtually has one hand on the trophy with just five races left.

Vettel will probably need a couple of Hamilton retirements in order to win the championship. The British driver can finish second in every race, behind Vettel and still be crowned champion. Sounds like 'now or never' to us.

"I don't like the now or never approach, I don't think there's much sense in that," Vettel told Crash.

"We attack every weekend and every weekend is different, tracks are different and circumstances are different.

"I'm very happy to be here, I love this track, it is my favourite track in the world, so I want to enjoy it and not spoil it by starting to count on this that are against me. I'll not focus on the things that are against me."

Vettel goes on to admit qualifying performances haven't been good enough for Ferrari. In the all-important Saturday afternoon session, Vettel looks to target Hamilton. If it rains, that could prove to be even harder.

"Hopefully, we are closer in qualifying which matters to place the car well to have a strong race and show that pace because once you are behind, for the reasons I mentioned earlier, we don’t have a lot of wheel-to-wheel racing," Vettel added.
