Toto Wolff has been leading the Mercedes AMG F1 team past high peaks since 2013 and some lows since two years. The Austrian is not yet thinking of retirement and will remain the team boss as long as he feels he adds value to the team.

After another very disappointing start to the season for Mercedes, Wolff now needs to change his attitude. Mercedes is no longer the championship team and the 2022 setback was not a one-off. A big challenge awaits Mercedes to get back to the top.

Wolff will continue at Mercedes

The challenge will be met with Wolff as team boss. Formel1.de quotes Austrian: "I think I can still contribute something. But if I ever come to the conclusion, or people tell me, that I am no longer contributing anything, then I will hand over the banner."

Wolff sees himself at the wheel at Mercedes for several more years to turn the tide there. Mercedes shareholders also continue to express support for Wolff. So says the team boss himself. Wolff is very happy with the support he is getting from Jim Ratcliffe (CEO Ineos) and Ola Källenius (CEO Mercedes-Benz).
