The Miami Grand Prix weekend is set to be one of the hottest of the season so far with temperatures in the high 20s. This will give the 2024 F1 cars a new test in hot and sunny conditions. It is expected to be generally sunny, but there is a small chance of rain for the remaining two days of action in the United States. Over the two days of running so far, the tyres have proved to be difficult to manage.

F1 will again use the sprint format. That means teams and drivers had just 60 minutes of free practice before going into the first meaningful event of the weekend. It is a street circuit, but unlike last time in China, F1 have visited the venue in the past two seasons.
