Haas joins hands with new US sponsor

Haas has secured another new sponsor. After partnering with main sponsor MoneyGram, it is now the turn of another American company.

It involves TravisMathew, a clothing brand. The intention is for Haas team members to wear the brand's clothing while travelling from race to race. "Our travel kit has to perform, especially with the demands of a 23-race calendar, and I know it’s important to our team members to look and feel good when traveling,” said Guenther Steiner in a Haas press release.

Steiner called it a good thing that they have added another American brand to their portfolio. After the departure of Russian Uralkali as main sponsor, the team has become quite 'Americanised'. Many US companies are looking at entering the sport in this fashion anyway, as sponsors, as Formula 1 is experiencing huge growth in the United States at the moment.
