Summer break already? Yep, we’re that far through the season and now F1 has three weeks off, a break to reflect. These drivers/teams would have been keen to keep racing and continue their fantastic form!

Lewis Hamilton

The reigning champ was trailing Sebastian Vettel heading into the German Grand Prix just two races ago, but maximum points in German and Hungary has seen him take a 24 point lead in the race to become a five time world champion.

Hopefully for the Brit he can keep the form up in the second half of the season and keep winning races for his fans!

Kimi Raikkonen

The Finn has gone about his business quietly but has picked up five podiums on the bounce! Whilst still looking for that elusive first race win since his Ferrari return, Raikkonen has seen his form go from strength to strength in recent weeks.

Four third placed finishes and one second place has seen him jump Valtteri Bottas to third in the drivers’ standings.

Haas

The American team have been in fine form in jumping up to fifth position in the constructors’ standings after a run of excellent results.

A return to form for Romain Grosjean has been key for F1’s newest team, he has scored points in three of the last four races, with team mate Kevin Magnussen scoring in four of the last five.
