Alpine shows A523: few differences from last season
Alpine on Thursday evening became the last Formula 1 team to show what its car for the new season will look like. Where it hopes to improve on last season this calendar year, it decided to make few changes as far as the exterior of the car is concerned.
The A523 bears striking similarities to last season's version. Thus, the blue, pink and black colours still remain the most recurrent on the car. At the detail level, however, we can still observe some differences.
For instance, Alpine chose to make changes at the rims, slightly changing the look of the car. In addition, the black colour on the French racing stable's car also appears to be carbon. It will ensure that the team can save some weight.

Next week, Alpine and the other Formula 1 teams will get three days to try out the car. Indeed, three test days are scheduled at the Bahrain circuit, giving Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon the opportunity to get used to the car. The first Grand Prix of the year is scheduled for early March.
