Verstappen best in F1 22

EA Sports released the new Formula 1 game F1 22 earlier this year, but it will be updated throughout the season. In the game, drivers are of course essential and so are their statistics. Prior to the season, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton were the game's best drivers.

Now that the season is over, the statistics have been updated for the last time. Verstappen finished top in the overall rating with a score of 95 out of a maximum of 100. In the latest update, he did lose one point as he lost one point on racecraft (from 99 to 98). On racecraft and pace (98), Verstappen is the best driver in the game, though.

Lewis Hamilton finishes in second place in the latest update. The Brit gets an average score of 93. What stands out with the Brit is his consistent ratings. Hamilton gets the lowest score for awareness with 91 and the highest score for experience and racecraft (94). For Hamilton, you pay even more in the game. Hamilton's contract costs (15 compared to Verstappen's $10.5 million) and salary ($10 to $7 million) are higher.
