Leclerc out for revenge

In France, Verstappen won at the Paul Ricard circuit where Ferrari were the big favourites. Leclerc was on pole position and seemed to be on the right track, but the Monegasque driver made a mistake and crashed into the wall. The Ferrari driver is out for revenge in Hungary, a circuit where the Italians should be strong.

Verstappen currently holds a 63-point lead in the championship. After a chaotic race in 2021, where Verstappen was hit by Valtteri Bottas' Mercedes on the opening lap and finished only ninth, he will be looking to get a better result this year.

The second free practice session will start at 17:00 local time. As the practice session is held around the same time as qualifying and the race, the drivers will be in action for both a qualifying and race run.
