Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing are highly competitive again in 2022 and currently have a good chance of winning both world titles. The Dutchman believes he will also have 'top material' at his disposal in the coming years.

Future prospects for Red Bull

Speaking to F1-Insider.com Verstappen let it be known that he believes Red Bull has a good future: "I believe we will have top material in the coming years." In 2022, the combination of Verstappen and Red Bull is extremely competitive and currently Verstappen leads the drivers' championship and Red Bull leads the constructors' championship.

Despite the positive outlook for the future, Verstappen prefers to pay attention to the present. "What I've learned is this: in Formula 1, the balance of power can change quickly," says the reigning world champion.

Formula 1 is a team sport

Verstappen will also never forget that Formula 1 is a team sport. He may only be in the car at the weekend, but that car would not have been there without the hundreds of people working on the track and in the factory. "When I destroy a car or parts of it, my first thought is also that I have given the mechanics a lot of unnecessary work again."
