Hamilton under fire: 'Russell drives the same car, right?'

Ralf Schumacher is critical of Lewis Hamilton. According to the German, Hamilton is the big loser of this season and Ralf now also looks at Hamilton's previous achievements very differently.
Was Hamilton really that good?
In the past eight seasons, Hamilton competed for the world title every year and won six in those eight years. This brought him to a total of seven world titles, which now puts him on par with Michael Schumacher. However, the brother of the person with whom he is tied in terms of world titles is critical of the Briton.
''Lewis Hamilton is the big loser of the season so far. George Russell was new to the team at the start of the season and is usually ahead of the runner-up world champion and is also stronger in qualifying. The "greatest driver of all time", as Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff always calls it, is ironed out by a newcomer in a way that is already worrying. I'm amazed, because there are only two options: Either is Russell the new high-flyer, or Hamilton had such a strong car in recent years that has made up for a lot,'' Schumacher said at Sky Germany.
Russell in top form
Schumacher also reflected this after the race. Hamilton and Russell drive the same W13, but the seven-time world champion stepped out in significantly more pain than Russell. ''Russell was in the same car and George looked rather fresh to me after the race. Lewis should first see that he is faster than his team-mate. I'm sorry for Lewis that he has a backache but other teams are tackling the problem as well.''
On the contrary, where you would expect Russell with his enormous height (for an F1 driver) to suffer the most from the bounce, it was Hamilton who barely got out of the car. Schumacher wonders if Hamilton's seating position might be different.
