AlphaTauri embraces Italian nationality in 2022 car design

February is always the month when most of the Formula 1 teams present the cars for the new season. Alpha Tauri is on the scene this week, so they shared a preview of their 2022 car.

On Monday, Alpha Tauri will present their new car and so today the Italian team shared a teaser of the new car. They shared a picture of a part of the new AT03, but the surprising element is the Italian flag. It is not yet clear if the livery of the team from Faenza will be dark blue and white again, but the Italian flag is a new and surprising addition anyway.

The team will continue with the familiar lineup in 2022, of Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda. Gasly finished the season ninth and Tsunoda fourteenth. The Italian team was sixth in the Constructors' Championship and finished behind Alpine, but in front of Aston Martin.

Enjoy four presentations next week

Haas was the first team to present next year's car, on February 4th. Last week, several teams followed, namely Red Bull Racing, Aston Martin and McLaren. Next week will be the busiest week in terms of launches, since four teams will present the new car. AlphaTauri and Williams start the week with presentations on Monday and Tuesday. Ferrari and Mercedes close the working week with presentations on Thursday and Friday.
