With a Formula 1 driver as a brother, you would think that you would get tips every day, but nothing turns out to be less true with the Leclerc brothers. Charles Leclerc explains why he doesn't constantly provide his brother with information.

In Leclerc's younger years, talent scouts could not ignore him. In karting he already made a big impression, but in the junior classes his talent really stood out. He won the GP3 and Formula 2 championships in his first season. Alfa Romeo gave the talent a chance in F1 and the rest is history.

The Leclerc brothers

Arthur Leclerc is Charles' younger brother and he too is a gifted racer. The 21-year-old driver doesn't yet match his brother's statistics, but he did win two races in Formula 3 last season. He finished tenth in the standings and hopes to do even better on behalf of Prema in 2022 when he returns to the start of the same championship.

Charles states in conversation with the Ferrari Magazine that he is ready for his brother if he needs him, but in terms of racing he lets him have his way. ''I prefer to let him find his own way and to make progress on his own, which I think is very important in this sport,'' says the Ferrari driver. However, that doesn't take away from the fact that they are never in contact, as Charles also says that his little brother regularly lets him know things he has seen on TV during a session.
