Ricciardo backs Hamilton: 'There's no loser in this championship'
- GPblog.com
Daniel Ricciardo finished twelfth in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix but enjoyed the title battle between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. Afterward, he had a hilarious reaction for the cameras of Ziggo Sport.
As the Australian was in front of the camera just after the race, he still had no idea what had happened on the track. Ricciardo realized that Verstappen had won the world championship, but had no idea how this came about. He let Jack Plooij explain the last lap between Hamilton and Verstappen.
The reaction of Ricciardo was telling. "Crazy," he told Plooij, after which he took up for Hamilton. "Just like I said before the weekend, I think there's no loser in this championship. I mean, they both did everything possible. It was a difficult race today."

McLaren loses to Ferrari
As his teammate Lando Norris finished in seventh place, McLaren had to settle for fourth in the constructors' championship for good. The difference with competitor Ferrari was almost 50 points. Next season McLaren seems to have a good chance to compete with the top drivers in the standings.
