Verstappen on Mercedes protest: 'Can work for me and against me'

There seems to be a tail end to the all-important race in Abu Dhabi. Mercedes has gone to the FIA and is going to protest against Max Verstappen's victory by means of two cases. The Dutchman has a short answer ready.
"Everything was clear. When it's clear you have to release the track. That is a fair point from race direction. It can work for me and against me," Verstappen told the press conference broadcast by Sky Sports.
According to Mercedes, Verstappen overtook his rival Lewis Hamilton behind the safety car and the car also came in too early. Because a number of lapped cars were allowed to overtake behind the safety car, Verstappen ended up right behind Hamilton's car for the restart.
Verstappen gives a short answer
Verstappen didn't reveal much about the protest, as he clearly seemed to disagree with it. "Not much really to say. It sums up the season," said the Dutchman.
