Gresini Ducati rider Fermin Aldeguer has officially been ruled fit to compete again at this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix after suffering a serious pre-season training injury.
Aldeguer, who is currently the youngest rider on the MotoGP grid, made a name for himself after claiming an unexpected victory at the Indonesian Grand Prix during his rookie campaign last season.
Widely dubed as a future star of the premier-class, Aldeguer faced a major setback early in 2025 after breaking his femur in training, an injury which saw him sidelined and forced to miss out on the opening round in Buriram, Thailand.
The return will be a difficult one for the Gresini man as he tries to get up to speed on a brand-new circuit in Goiania, with forecasts of rain expected to play a factor throughout the weekend.

MotoGP Brazil schedule and start times: Goiania race weekend timetable

The Brazilian Grand Prix makes its return to the MotoGP calendar this weekend with the Ayrton Senna Autodrome in Goiania set to host its first premier class race since 1989.
It is the first time a MotoGP will be held in 'The Land of the Holy Cross' since the 2004 Rio Grand Prix won by Makoto Tamada ahead of Max Biaggi and Nicky Hayden.
The circuit, which was renamed to honour Senna in 1994 after his fatal crash in Imola, is commonly used to host lower-tier bike races, stock car series, Brazilian NASCAR and Brazilian junior Formula events.
