FIA stewards issue verdict after Leclerc-Piastri clash in Belgian GP

The pair came together at the end of the Kemmel Straight, with a piece of debris flying off during the battle, although both drivers were able to continue without any issues.

After reviewing the footage, the stewards decided not to impose any penalty on the Monegasque driver, clearing him of any responsibility for the incident.

Before the contact between Leclerc and Piastri, the stewards had already ruled on the opening-lap collision between Hamilton and Russell. After reviewing the incident at Les Combes, they found the seven-time world champion responsible for the contact and handed him a five-second time penalty to be served at his next pit stop.
