The Spanish Grand Prix was won again by Lewis Hamilton. He had to fight harder than ever for it this year, but the Brit managed to pick up the biggest trophy at the end of the race for the fifth time in a row at this venue.
Hamilton ahead of Max again
With pole in his hands, Hamilton started from the best spot, but Max Verstappen grabbed the lead right at the first corner. The Dutchman made a daring move, and would keep Hamilton behind for a long time. Hamilton used a unique strategy to attack Verstappen again and eventually won the race.
This was a major setback for Verstappen, although he did manage to set the fastest lap of the race. That way the damage was limited to six points. Valtteri Bottas scored valuable points for Mercedes with a third place.
