Probably needs to change the driver". He is begining to come to the realisation that he is just not performing up to the level that he used to be and the effects of ageing is catching up and is thus begining to give 'hints' to his fans and team that he might not be around for too much longer."05:33

Pretty accurate conclusion, apart from, I might swap George and Lando around. The results that both of them are achieving, compared to the performance of the cars they are driving, I believe Russell is doing a slightly better job and making less mistakes than Norris this season.05:29

Lets analyse the results. - Yuki was faster and quicker than Lawson when they were team mates at RcB - Yuki was faster and quicker than Hadjar when they were team mates at RcB - Both Lawson and Hadjar are faster than Yuki now when Yuki is driving the RB. In conclusion, the RcB car is a quicker car than the RB. Therefore expectations : Max will be doing even better and scoring more points if he was driving the RcB.05:23

Well, he has been used to be in a car that was that far ahead of other competitors during his time at Mercedes, so now he knows how the other competitors felt when told by their race engineers that you and Rosbgerg was also a second or more quicker than them!01-08-2025 15:33

Yeah, unfortunately as one ages, slight body twist here or a slighlty misplaced pillow while asleep will cause aches and pains to occur more easily. Things that you can do when you are younger and have no consequences will cause the body to react negatively as we age and the healing process also takes longer..01-08-2025 13:29

A good driver wont 'forget' now to drive well, but he still cant defy the inevitble degredation of the human body as one ages. Reflex action, stamina, core body strength, concentration etc will definitely decrease as he ages. Hamilton was definitely a very god driver, say, 6-8 years ago, but after passing about 32/34 years old, everyone falls off his peak. I am sure, there are things that you yourself found easy to do 10 years ago, but is begining to be more difficult or slower for you do today. Thats the reality of ageing.01-08-2025 13:22

The pecking order of all teams in 2026 could be very different from what it is today, because of the huge change in powertrains and car aero design. No one know which particular team will be the dominant one. If Max jumps ship to Mercedes, it wont be only for one year. It will be at least a 2 or 3 or longer term deal, which means he is stuck at Mercedes for a few years, no matter if they are dominant or otherwise. By staying put in RB for 2026 he can see which team has the best car, then re open negotiations for future years with the TP of whichever team that is doing very well, as he will definitely be welcome by all TP. Who knows. AM or Audi or even Cadillac might unexpectedly have the best car in the field, then Max might then be having chats with different TP, rather than Toto. Remember Brawn GP dominating in 2009 and Button suddenly finding himself in a rocketship of a car which gave him his one and only WDC.01-08-2025 03:48

Toto is not letting Kimi go anywhere! He missed signing Max 10 years ago, and now that he has got his hands on the next driver since Max to have similar records and credentials in his younger racing career, he will hang on to him to be Mercedes future star that will bring many WDC titles to the team.01-08-2025 03:37

There are a few articles that says that is not the case. Red Bull current Austrian bosses feels that there is too much power and influence is in the hands of their star driver and his 'team' (ie, father and manager) and have thus chosen Mekies as the TP to have more corporate control. Mekis, being ex Ferrari and ex F1, two organizations that has very 'top down corporate style' of management wants to bring more control back to the team and organisation and the driver has less say and is just there to drive and follow what 'the bosses' want.01-08-2025 03:31

Full wet tyres are a waste of time these days as the moment the conditions are actually wet enough to need them, the FIA will red flag the race as they feel it is too much to ask of the "20 best drivers in the world" to be able to race without crashing!01-08-2025 00:24
