Iran launched missile attacks on the Al Udeid U.S. Air Base in Qatar in response to a previous U.S. strike targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities. The attack occurred just 32 kilometers from the Losail International Circuit, where this year’s Qatar Grand Prix is scheduled to take place.
Like last year, the Grand Prix of Qatar will be the penultimate race of the Formula 1 season. Last season, this race was won by Max Verstappen, after he managed to overtake George Russell at the start of the Grand Prix.
