Mercedes and Red Bull Racing will continue their fight for the world title at this weekend's Qatar Grand Prix. But it's not just on the track. Behind the scenes the Austrian team is trying to prove to the FIA that there is something wrong with Lewis Hamilton's rear wing. Helmut Marko is confident that his team will be proved right.
During the Brazilian GP, Red Bull's advisor already remarked that the German formation didn't act entirely according to the rules. The British driver was disqualified, but thanks to a strong sprint race and main race he managed to take victory.
Those who thought that this was enough for the team of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will be disappointed. Red Bull is hoping that the FIA will look at the rear wing again. "Fortunately that seems to be happening," Marko revealed in an interview with Sky Deutschland. "We could end up opting for a protest, but there's definitely something going on."

Mercedes working on changes

At the same time, Marko sees that Mercedes are already working on changing things. For example, he states that the data from the first two free practice sessions cautiously shows that Mercedes are making changes.
