McLaren had a disappointing weekend in Brazil. The Woking-based team had to settle for tenth place for Lando Norris, while Daniel Ricciardo did not reach the finish line due to chassis damage. Both drivers are therefore particularly keen to get a good result in Qatar.

Can Norris put an end to his dip after Sochi?

Since missing out on his first win in Sochi, Norris seems to be going through a dip. In the Brazilian Grand Prix, he managed to grab a point, but it was not the result he had hoped for. "We're going to do everything we can to finish the triple-header as well as we can," he looks ahead to the Qatar Grand Prix.

He continued: "I've been driving on the simulator to get an idea of what to expect this weekend. It's a pretty fast and fun circuit with a couple of big braking zones, which should make for a physically tough race."

Ricciardo motivated by Brazil dropout

Daniel Ricciardo failed to finish in Brazil and is keen to turn that into a revenge at the Losail circuit. "We were unlucky not to take points in Brazil," he says in the McLaren preview. "That was a shame, but there are still plenty of positives to take from the weekend and we can use those to get everything out of the remaining races of this season."

"We're closing out this triple-header at a new venue for us," he continued. "I'm looking forward to it because it's a new circuit and a different challenge for everyone. The aim is to master the circuit right from the start and find a good rhythm," said Ricciardo.
