According to F1 CEO Chase Carey, plans for a race in Miami are currently on hold. The race will also not be announced for the 2021 calendar. "We are still actively involved in Miami," says Carey, according to Motorsport-Total.com.

It has been decided to take things a little more slowly during the pandemic. The city should make its debut on the F1 calendar when the planning can be carried out more safely.

"We look forward to the opportunity in Miami as always, but we both felt that the smart way forward would be to ensure that we have confidence. We also want to start a new race well," Carey continued.
