For the third weekend in a row Mercedes managed to take a Grand Prix victory. In the first race it was Valtteri Bottas and in the second race Lewis Hamilton. With the third victory in Hungary for the team and the second for Hamilton, the relationships between the teams seem to be pretty clear. Mercedes is again dominant and it is likely that it will remain so.

Hamilton is a living legend

Robert Doornbos talks about this in the new column of Ziggo Sport, in which he looks back on last weekend. Ferrari is nowhere to be seen at the top and Red Bull Racing has so far struggled to keep up with Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, delivered another perfect weekend and that is typical for the rest of the season.

"Lewis Hamilton, what a living legend. What a world performance", says Doornbos in his column. "He had the hat trick. He grabbed pole position in a dominant way. Then he won the race and he was almost out of the picture. And then on that last lap, the very last lap of the race, he took the fastest lap, which is good for one point."

The maximum achievable, which Hamilton managed to achieve as he has done before. In the mean time he was also on the same level as Michael Schumacher. He managed to win eight times at the Hungaroring and that record is equal to eight victories of Schumacher at Magny-Cours in France.

Dominant the rest of the season

"Lewis is really on his way to breaking all the records. The car's awfully good. They have already won a second on this circuit alone compared to last year and with Silverstone in front I think it is going to be a fairly dominant season for Mercedes. Especially for Lewis", concludes Doornbos.
