Albon is happy with the strong RB16: "It shows that the car has potential"

Starting in 13th place always indicated that it was going to be a difficult afternoon for Alexander Albon. Nevertheless, the British-Thai driver managed to finish fifth place in an impressive way.

"We wonder why the car was so much better in the race than in qualifying because the car was really good today. We were in traffic during the entire Grand Prix and the moments when we had free air we were very competitive. It's a very weird scenario, but not one you are going to complain about. It shows that the car has potential, we just need to understand how to get it out," Albon tells Sky Sports F1 about his race.

Wait for an investigation

The Red Bull Racing driver has to wait for an investigation to finish. The team is said to have dried his starting spot. "I honestly don't know. I'm not really worried about it. But we have to wait for the verdict. I think I should go to the stewards now. We are going to see what they have to say," concludes the Red Bull Racing driver.
