UPDATE: Verstappen won't be kneeling in Austria either!

This morning Daniel Ricciardo already indicated that not every driver will kneel down and that every driver will find his own way to express himself on the racism debate. Charles Leclerc has already spoken out about it. The driver of Ferrari has decided not to kneel down, but he does say he is committed to the fight against racism.

The driver states on Twitter that "all drivers together with the teams are against racism and thus support the actions of F1 and the FIA". He goes on to say that "it's about our behaviour in everyday life and not about formal gestures that can be considered controversial in some countries".

Still involved in fight

"I will not take the knee but this does not mean at all that I am less committed than others in the fight against racism." Leclerc is the first driver who says not to kneel. Each driver will show support against racism in his own way during the race.

Update | Also Verstappen will not kneel!

After Leclerc, Verstappen also lets us know on Twitter that he won't kneel during the Austrian Grand Prix. He says he chooses not to, but respects the choice of drivers who will do it.
