Despite the stewards deciding no action was needed against Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc for their incident at the Brazilian Grand Prix, Mattia Binotto has confirmed he will sit down with the pair to discuss the crash.

Both drivers' race came to a premature end when they collided on lap 66 of the race at Interlagos. After being overtaken by Leclerc, Vettel tried to fight back and the two Ferrari drivers collided with each other. Both pointed the finger at the other in the immediate aftermath but the German has since refused to lay the blame at anyone's door.

The stewards took no action but it remains to be seen what decision the Scuderia will take.

"I have heard from both drivers, but I will meet with them to discuss what happened," said Binotto as quoted by Sky Sports.

"There will be time for the team to analyse the video and data. It is not a matter of fining or blaming.

"It is a matter of recognising eventually what has been the actions and mistakes. Whether you are a driver or engineer or whatever you are doing, recognising mistakes is important because that can only make it better.

"So what's going to be important with both drivers is to understand together at Maranello what happened and what has been the mistake. "It is not for me to blame them, it's for them to recognise it."
