Le Mans update: Watch Nyck de Vries crash as Fernando Alonso jumps into cockpit
Fernando Alonso has climbed into his LMP1 car for what is likely to be the final time. Alonso replaced another former Formula 1 driver, Sebastien Buemi. Meanwhile, Nyck de Vries brought out the safety car with just over three and a half hours left. He managed to get the car out of the wall and back to the pitstop despite his front wheel pointing the wrong way.
