Ferrari has confirmed it will replace its Mission Winnow advertisement on its livery and use a 90th anniversary edition for its chassis instead, for the next two grands prix in Canada and France.

When the factory Ducati MotoGP team announced it would not run Mission Winnow on its livery in France, Ferrari was then expected to stay clear of the branding for the next two F1 races.

Scuderia has now confirmed that it will use the 90th anniversary branding instead, like it did in the season-opener in Australia, for the next two races on the calendar.

The team chose to remove the Mission Winnow from its livery for the first race of the season, as it was revealed that Australian authorities launched an investigation into whether the brand contravened laws banning tobacco advertising.

Ferrari's official entry into the 2019 Formula 1 season was changed from Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow to just Scuderia Ferrari. However, the next race in Bahrain saw the name change back to its original form and it has been the same ever since.

Despite this, Ferrari's change to the 90th anniversary branding for the next couple of races is specific to the Canada and France grands prix, with the team insisting that "Mission Winnow remains the title partner for Scuderia Ferrari in 2019".
