Old habits got the better of the experienced race engineer, Peter Bonnington. 'Bono', as he is well-known in the paddock, briefly forgot that he is no longer working with Lewis Hamilton. See the video below!
The mistake of 'Bono' is not surprising, after all, he has worked with Lewis Hamilton for a long time. Before the seven-time world champion left for Ferrari, their duo was the longest serving driver-race engineer partnership on the grid, which title now belongs to Max Verstappen and Gianpiero Lambiase.
Over the Chinese Grand Prix, 'Bono' managed to call Antonelli his previous driver. "Copy that Lewis... copy that Kimi", he told the Italian over the radio.
