Painful: Hamilton walks out of interview after question about Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton was less than pleased with a question from a journalist in the paddock. The seven-time world champion allegedly walked away after being asked about the performance of his future team, Ferrari.
Hamilton has had a very disappointing start to his 2024 season. The Brit has just 10 points after four races, which puts him ninth in the world championship for now.
In Japan, Hamilton could not make a breakthrough either. He scored just two points, finishing in ninth place. His future team, Ferrari, did a lot better. At Suzuka, Carlos Sainz was on the podium, before Charles Leclerc crossed the line in fourth place.
Hamilton walks away from the interview
A journalist in the paddock asked if Hamilton looks with jealousy towards the team he will be driving for next year. The Briton was not impressed and asked if the journalist did not have a better question for him. The reporter apologised, but Hamilton stopped. The Mercedes driver's press officer thanked the journalist.
