Jos Verstappen has reiterated the need for calm within Red Bull Racing. However, Max Verstappen's father does not think that calm will come any time soon. Meanwhile, Max does continue to do his thing and win races.

To say things are unsettled within Red Bull Racing is an understatement. The Austrian team has been under a period of high tension since the now concluded investigation into Christian Horner. There are sides; the Christian Horner camp, the Red Bull Austria camp and the Verstappen camp. Jos does not expect this to end any time soon.

Verstappen wants peace within Red Bull Racing

"It is necessary to regain peace in the team, but given the circumstances it will take some time, I think. I can't say much about it. Hopefully they can concentrate on racing again soon, because that's what it's all about," Jos, who himself won another rally race this weekend, told Sporza.

Meanwhile, his son seems to care little about all the turmoil within the team, Jos also observes: "The important thing is that he keeps winning, whatever he does. The car is running very well and between the engineers and him there is also nothing going on. Max can switch off, only he gets a lot of questions about it. He doesn't like that, but it's part of Formula 1."

Max Verstappen will be back in action next weekend at the Australian Grand Prix. After two victories, the Dutchman will be looking to continue his victory streak in Melbourne. Verstappen has already won nine races in a row and can, therefore, match his own record of 10 wins in a row in Melbourne.
