Gianpiero Lambiase looks back on the F1 test days positively. Despite the investigation into Christian Horner, the Italian can look optimistically at the team and finds many plus points from the RB20's first laps. In a press release issued by Red Bull Racing, he talks about how sees the upcoming season.

"Today was about tidying up the loose ends from the previous two days of running," Lambiase said after the third day of testing in Bahrain. He continued: "Giving both drivers and their crews some freedom on the detail in preparation for next week." On Thursday, the teams will once again drive in Bahrain for the first free practice sessions of the season.

Max Verstappen's race engineer acknowledges that there is still a lot to be done on the car: "Whilst it has been a globally positive start to the year, the hard work has only just begun," Lambiase said. Since they now have a much better understanding of the car and the areas where it can still be improved. "We now have a much more informed understanding of the platform beneath us and the areas that need addressing to kickstart development," GP said.

For now, a few short nights remain for the team. They will fly back to Milton Keynes, where their factory is located: "We will be looking to make the most of the few days back in Milton Keynes before returning for what will hopefully be an exciting season opener," Lambiase said.
