Red Bull Racing became constructors' champion for the second year in a row in Japan on Sunday. While Max Verstappen was supreme again today, Sergio Perez disappointed with mistakes and a retirement. Peter Windsor, in his analysis video on his YouTube channel, said that Red Bull are like a one-car team.

Perez qualified fifth in Japan, but in the race, he quickly fell back due to an incident on the first lap. After this, the Red Bull driver tried to fight his way back, but in doing so he made a mistake, battling Kevin Magnussen. The car was brought inside to quit, but still, Perez came out again. Two laps later, the Mexican was back inside, and his race was over.

Verstappen was very dominant, however, and was able to take his 13th win of the season. And then, at the same time, Sergio Pérez was sitting calmly in the garage while all the damage from the early laps shunts he's had was being repaired, he's just sitting there. It's like a one-car team winning the Constructors' Championship," Windsor says.

Despite that, Windsor also has good words for Perez: "Checo played his role, of course he did. Won races, lots of testing, lots of development, good input, and also a very good teammate. If you take out some of the sort of post-early season comments, in reality, his ability has allowed Max to get on and do what he does with his own ability, which is win a World Championship by the Japanese Grand Prix, and for Red Bull, a Constructors' Championship."
