Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has a clear objective this weekend in Austin; if he wins the American Grand Prix and Sebastian Vettel ends third or lower, the Brit will win his fifth career drivers' championship!

The 33-year-old Hamilton currently has a whopping 67-point lead on Vettel, a gap which has ballooned in recent weeks as the Brit has won four races in a row now. It's not a question if Hamilton will win his fifth title, but whén. Could it be this weekend?
The Circuit of the Americas, host of this weekend's American Grand Prix, famously is one of Hamilton's favourite tracks, as he has won the previous four Grands Prix in Austin, and five of the six F1-races that have been driven there in total.
There are a lot of scenarios of how Hamilton can win the title this weekend, but the easiest is that he 'simply' wins it again and that Vettel has to finish anywhere but second. Vettel hasn't finished second since August, so it could be fairly straight-forward! Either way, Hamilton will have to keep Vettel at least two places behind him, even if he doesn't win.
