Toro Rosso continue to drag on the silly season as they're yet to announce who will become Daniil Kvyat's team-mate. Lots of names are flying around. These include Alexander Albon, Pascal Wehrlein, Brendon Hartley, even a shock Esteban Ocon move should he leave the Mercedes junior list. But we are still not certain.

One thing is for certain, Pascal Wehrlein is desperate to nail the seat. His focus is aimed at grabbing an F1 seat after he reportedly turned down a three-year deal to race in Formula E.

Ulrich Fritz, future team boss of HWA Racelab told motorsport Wehrlein rejected his offer.

"We would like to come to a decision with Wehrlein. His focus was clear. He wants to make his F1 comeback and I can understand that," Fritz said.

The German, 23, has already started 40 Grands Prix. In 2016, he drove for Manor only to switch to Sauber for the 2017 season.
