Starting out in 2006 as Red Bull’s development team, Toro Rosso gained independence from the Bulls in 2010, but still remain a place to breed talents that eventually move on to Red Bull if they’re deemed as good enough. The likes of Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen have all driven for Toro Rosso before their promotion to Red Bull. Toro Rosso became the first Italian team that wasn’t Ferrari to win a race since 1957, when Maserati did it.
