Four more Grands Prix are scheduled until the summer break. On one of the few weekends when the drivers do not have to race, Sergio Perez should still get going. Indeed, Red Bull Racing's Mexican is going to give a demonstration in Madrid.

The event will take place on Saturday night, 15 July, in the centre of the Spanish capital. The route of the Red Bull Madrid Showrun is T-shaped and goes through Calle Alcalá, from the Puerta de Alcalá to the Edificio Metrópolis and also through the Paseo de la Castellana between Cibeles and Colón. This is a very famous area in Madrid, where Red Bull organises a motorsport festival.

Perez and Kinky Kylie

Perez will drive the RB7, in which Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber caused a furore in the past. This car was used in the 2011 season. The RB7 won 12 out of 19 Grands Prix that year and Vettel eventually became the world champion with it. The German had nicknamed the RB7 Kinky Kylie.

Madrid is currently working hard to host a Grand Prix. The city wants to hold a race on a street circuit but has competition from Barcelona. The circuit near the Catalan city has long hosted the Spanish Grand Prix. It also has a contract with Formula 1 for the coming years.
