With Max Verstappen in blood form, it is fun to look at the stats lists after every race. They change at lightning speed as the Red Bull Racing driver storms the record lists like Lewis Hamilton did in the past decade. Here are the records and notable stats after the Canadian Grand Prix.

Verstappen equals Senna

Starting with Max Verstappen's 41st victory, which puts him on a par with Ayrton Senna. The 25-year-old driver is now in a shared fifth place on the list of drivers with the most wins of all time. Max Verstappen's race in Canada was also his tenth in which he was in the lead for the entire race. Even during the pit stops, the Dutchman was not overtaken.

And that is an interesting statistic that Verstappen has been building a lot to this year. Having not been overtaken in Monaco, Spain and Canada, Verstappen was last overtaken in Formula 1 in Miami on 7 May. It was Sergio Perez who passed him during the pit stop. At the start of the Austrian GP, Verstappen will be certain of having not been overtaken in F1 for almost two months. As many as 224 laps in a row, the Dutchman is in the lead.

Verstappen lurks on ancient record

In doing so, the Dutchman has beaten Sebastian Vettel, who led 205 laps for a period in 2012. To break Alberto Ascari's record from 1952, Verstappen needs to get through to the 305-lap mark. Then in Austria, he must take pole position and not relinquish the lead and the British GP also take pole and hold the lead for half the race.

Verstappen's victory was his fourth in a row, bringing him close to his personal record of five consecutive F1 wins. Last year, the Dutchman won all races from France to Italy. Finally, with his 25th pole position, Verstappen has passed Niki Lauda and his father-in-law Nelson Piquet.

Red Bull Racing strings them together

Red Bull Racing has achieved its hundredth victory and is beaming with happiness. With this hundredth win, the team has also directly equalled its own personal record. Red Bull has not lost a race since Abu Dhabi 2022 and therefore stands on a run of nine wins. The team did so twice before. In 2013 and in 2022.

With one win, the team breaks its own record. The win in Austria puts them on a run of 10. A feat that Mercedes achieved three times. Mercedes even made it twice in one-and-a-half years in 2015 and 2016. 1988 was a team's most dominant season ever. McLaren then won 11 races in a row. If Red Bull also wins the British GP after Austria, they will be level with that 1988 record.
