Max Verstappen won his fourth race in a row in Canada and the Dutchman seems hard to stop at the moment in Formula 1. However, Aston Martin and Mercedes did sit a lot closer to Red Bull Racing at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. Lewis Hamilton sees a big difference between his W14 and the RB19.

So far, Red Bull has won all races by some 20 seconds ahead of the first non-Red Bull car, except in Australia where the race ended behind the safety car. In Canada, Aston Martin had brought a lot of upgrades and they seemed to work well. The gap to victory was now 'only' just under 10 seconds for the British team. Mercedes followed fourteen seconds behind.

Hamilton names strong point Red Bull

At the post-race press conference in Canada, the seven-time world champion was asked about the biggest differences between his Mercedes and the RB19 and AMR23. The Briton drove right behind Verstappen at the start of the race and then followed Fernando Alonso for a long time, allowing him to analyse the rivals' cars well.

"Low speed rear end. I got to experience being behind Max and his rear end is very strong.  His rear end doesn't move and he pulls 10 car lengths just coming out of the corners. I think Fernando is very, very strong on the brakes and particularly very, very quick through turn 10 and turn 2 [low speed corners]," Hamilton said.
