The chaotic course of the Australian Grand Prix had adverse consequences for several F1 teams, but not for Red Bull Racing. Thanks to Max Verstappen's victory and Sergio Perez's fifth-place finish, the Austrian racing team is significantly ahead in the championship.

Changeable constructors standings?

The result of the race is being contested by Haas and is therefore not yet final. The team saw Nico Hulkenberg almost get on the podium in a bizarre way, but the driver missed out on his first podium in Formula 1 when race control reversed the standings after the chaos of the late restart. It is expected that the protest will be unsuccessful, as the stewards acted in line with the decision on an earlier, similar incident.

For now, Haas, therefore, retains seventh place in the constructors' classification. Meanwhile, Red Bull leads proudly, followed by Aston Martin. Mercedes' customer team has passed the factory team in the standings but has to settle for almost half of Red Bull's points total.

Ferrari experienced a dramatic day and was left without points, leaving the Italian racing team stuck on just 26 points. McLaren finished with both drivers in the points after an extremely disappointing start to the season, managing to climb from last place to P5 in the standings.
